Tortellini minestrone soup, with a slice or 2 of sourdough.

^^^ who does the despatching, SC, you or Bob? I applaud the principle of GYO and self sufficiency also knowing where your food comes from. but not sure I could do it. I'd give them names, and that would be it

Bob does the despatching. I do get attached to them even without giving them names. Feeding & caring for them every day you still know the differences between them and know who’s who. I do despatch things that are sick or injured & I’ll happily despatch any pigeons I catch in the chicken house stealing their food. They also get eaten. I don’t believe in taking a life for no reason. Same goes for when we’re fishing ( rod & reel or pots ) when we’ve got what we need the rest get put back.

Homemade burgers, fried onions, mushrooms, peas, mash and gravy.

Chunky omelette with eggs,ham, two cheeses,onions,tomatoes and mushrooms.

The guinea fowl was lovely.
