Homemade Venison pie with whole grain mustard mash with roasted veggies
From the garden - 2 beetroot and a leek - so I chopped them into small bits (the beetroot mainly) and stirfried them together
I've never stir-fried a beetroot before and I was pleasantly surprised.
Ate them with some yellow stickered pakoras and samosas and mango chutney.
Corned beef and potato pie this evening with mushy peas.
Only the carrots will be mine.
Chicken pie and chips for No.2 son

Steak and ale pie, mash, and mushy peas for me and Mrs B.

We're finishing of yesterdays pie but with baked beans today.
Supposed to be chicken with ratatouille and pasta. It might be without the chicken, don’t think it’ll be defrosted.
Last. Ishtar had a chicken curry pie chips and onion rings. I took some lamb pieces out of freezer last night to make a slow cooked massaman curry today but with added chillies, it’s a great way of using up all the small potatoes from the garden as well. You have to put spuds in a good massaman curry.
