Mash potatoes bacon and baked beans

Had a burger down the pub last night before wishing them good luck on another closure.

Number 2 son arrives today for lockdown2, Spag bol all round tonight

Steak and chips tonight.

Tonight fish patties with pasta and salad.

Bacon and colcannon lots of salt pepper and butter.

Just did a search for colcannon and it does look tasty, seems to be kale/cabbage, spring onions and butter.     So I was wondering   what do you put  in yours  Can?

Yea I made it with a mixture of purple and green curly kale and lovely mashed potatoes, lots of salty butter, freshly ground black pepper and some rock salt. I don’t bother with spring onions because I go 50/50 of kale to potatoes, so it’s dark green and white.
