Is it Monkfish scampi or from a Langustine? Such an ugly fish the Monkfish, I wouldn't know where to start preparing it. Rolleyes
Neither.  dogfish scampi, it lovely.

Never prepared monkfish. I know it’s only the tail that’s edible, so it can’t be that tricky.

Toad in the hole, roast veg, kale, carrots, peas and some runners from the freezer.
I love monkfish especially baked in the oven with a sprig of rosemary some lemon slices olive oil all wrapped up in prochutto or serano ham.
Jacket potatoes today with rissoles and salad.
Singapore noodles with homegrown bean spouts
Chicken wings and brocolli. 

Doesn't sound very appetising, but when its your only meal of the day and you are starvy marvy, i fits the bill. Smile
Crab Thermidor tonight with big chunks of homemade bread. Crab from our pots again.

Chilli for a chilly summers evening. Every time I make it I feel there is something missing in the taste of it, no idea what!
