Repeat of last night. Roast chicken
Today will be homemade pizza as it always is on the first and last Saturday of the Six Nations!

Chicken Curry, Rice, Bombay Potatoes, Nan/Chapati
Chicken stir fry with rice for me and home made cottage pie with extra mash for missus. Smile

Not yet, that's tonight's challenge.  All the recipes for fennel gratin use cream, which I haven't got, so it might be cheesy topped fennel or fennel in a cheese sauce.  Tasted it raw and thought it was a bit too aniseedy for me,  but could grow on me, but blanched and braised/gratineed might be fine.  I've got 2 bulbs, might save one for risotto.  Oh these decisions!

Fennel is in the oven, I boiled the tough tops a little longer to taste 'au naturel'  - a bit like braised celery and quite pleasant.  So that's a thumbs upfrom me, but celery is a lot cheaper if you're buying.
Tagliatelle, bol, garlic bread, parmesan and a glass of red.
