Yes Jen, I think preferred the Harlequin but they were both niceSmile
Veggie soup followed by jam sponge and custard.
Tromboncino risotto. Very nice.
I found some of last year's unbaked mince pies in the freezer so bunged them in the oven with dinner hoping they'd be ok. Extremely nice they were too. They're Nana's recipe with sweet orange pastry and a cream cheese centre in with the mincemeat a really delicious variation on the bog standard mince pie. So they were last night's pudding.
Not tonight but my lunchtime OMAD meal on this Meatless Monday. Big Grin

Two Linda McCarney burgers with fried Halloumi and veggie chilli, beefed up with two large chopped red peppers that were past sell by date but still quite firm! The avocado gave a touch of colour and is supposed to be good for you! Cool
Yesterday toad in the hold, with Kale, carrots and peas.

Today a veggie casserole a long with a slice or 2 of sourdough.
My meal for today. Smile I love broccoli/calabrese and can never grow it to the same standard I find in shops. It is also very cheap and good for you. Cool

That looks scrummy Vinny, broc is good with anything, it's a staple in our house, I've managed to grow it a couple of times but never in enough quantity to be self sufficient.

Our meal tonight is likely to be Chinese type spareribs, stir-fry veg and rice, unless the yellow stickers beckon while shopping.
Had an Indian spiced shepherd's pie last night, beluga lentils instead of meat.

Tonight is a Tromboncino curry! Will pad it out with some chorizo.
