First courgette of the year, sliced, soaked in olive oil for half an hour then griddled, with steamed beans & mangetout in a lemon and basil dressing. Part of a mixed salad - green leaves, beetroot, potato salad and warm softish hardboiled eggs.
Hotdogs on homemade rolls with a garden salad.
Mizuna, land cress, salad bowl, gem and spicy mix lettuce. Basil, spring onions, carrots and cucumber.
Had the same last night.
Cod in parsley sauce, mash, and the 2nd courgette of the year☺

Had the 1st courgette last night in a lamb ragu with pasta and my trusty side salad☺
Smoked basa fillet, pasta, cheese sauce, beetroot tops, broccoli, carrots and the first decent feed of CFB hunter, absolutely delicious.

Last couple of days has been pheasant fried rice and crab Thermidor.
Friday night is fish night - ginger & soy marinaded trout fillets; steamed spuds, beans & mangetout; courgettes with elephant garlic, shallots & basil.
Omelette made with eggs,sliced cooked new potatoes from lottie and finished with cheese and fresh basil.Amazing what can be knocked up with leftovers Cool
