Sarriss go to an Asian shop and see if you can get a jar of Mr Yoes Satay sauce, I use this as the base of my chicken satay add some coconut milk, fish sauce, chicken stock pot and loads of hot chillies I also add some pineapple pieces and juice. Stir fry your meat and veg then add to the sauce Makes the best satay ever. Don’t forget some lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice.

Rajma ( kidney bean) curry & rice.
Cheap food today - mostly from the little shop at the end of the garden
Lunch was a sourdough bread (free) sandwich with beetroot and chard as filling
Dinner was a stirfry of chard stalks and leaves, radish and mustard leaves with Filo prawns (Christmas party food) and tamari sauce.
The dehydrator is working on the chard and spinach beet leaves and rosemary as I write.
Veggie soup for us this evening from the freezer.

Cheers Bren, they were really tasty as well.
Definately an experiment that worked out OK.
I intend making them this evening and eating some tomorrow.
In fact I couldn't wait and had one for brekkie!
