I went out last night and left P with a sweet 'n sour chicken ready meal, it's about all he can manage Smile
Last night was marinated steak with fresh tomato salsa, tortilla & salad.
Tonight will be marinated brisket slow roasted with I don’t know yet
Tortellini minestrone soup.
Yellow sticker black garlic Sizzle Steak, new potatoes, cabbage, swee potato and carrots! Smile
Last night was a slice of the sourdough olive and onion ciabatta with some fried sliced courgettes.
Which reminds me - I need to pick some more as they're bound to bigger after yesterday's rain. Yum yum Fat courgettes. Big Grin
I made a sort of Ratatouille (Rats again!) from the 3 sweet peppers and some onions (Collected Free), Courgettes and 2 tins of tomatoes and one of red kidney beans and ate a bowl of it with some sourdough herb focaccia.
A totally FREE meal and there's plenty left to freeze. Big Grin

You've got rats on the brain! Tongue

I was peckish at supper so tried my hand at some onion bhaji's as I have loads of onions at the allotment. Rolleyes I didn't realise it was a vegan recipe though I got from youtube and they were nothing like my favoured Morrisons version! Angry They were greasy and made without eggs and using plain flour instead of gram flour (which I haven't got anyway).
Dipping them in Habernero Chilli Mayonaise did help with the taste though! Big Grin
Veg burgers and salad this evening.
Meatless Monday today Smile so probably the veg left over from yesterdays Sunday steak  dinner with a meatless addition of some description from the cupboard/fridge/freezer? Huh
A starter of battered daylily flower & buds with aioli. Very very nice.

Followed by kidney bean curry with rice. One of my favourite meals.
