How did the pressure cooker behave?

My tea was yellow sticker salmon fillet and more of the wonky veg mash I made a couple of days ago.

Pressure cooker did very well. Took about 15mins to get up to temp/ pressure. Beans only had a couple of hours pre soak then 35 minutes including the 15mins warm up time in pressure cooker. They came out pretty close to perfect texture. They didn’t come out the vibrant colours they went in. Might try with half a veg stock cube in with them next time. They tasted good but not quite as much flavour as the tinned kidney beans. Don’t know if it was variety or preparation that made the difference. But on the whole I’m very happy and the pressure cooker will get used again. Not buried in the back of the cupboard  Big Grin .
Corned beef pie the evening with mushy peas and gravy.
Enchiladas and salad tonight
Posh Fish and chips Big Grin
Yellow sticker salmon and wonky chips!
Cheese and bacon Quesadillas followed by chocolate
Carbonara
The rest of yesterday’s corned beef pie this time with baked beans.
Had  mince & onion with brocolli and fries for lunch. Had quite a bit mince & Onion left over so added a chopped red & green fresh jalapaeno, some raisins, a chopped apple, kidney beans and chopped tomatoes to make a chilli with microwave rice. Rolleyes It was OK but a bit of a wussie chilli when all came to all! Sad Must try harder in future. Big Grin
I picked too much lovage and kale to fit in my new toy, the dehydrator, so I chopped it up with some three cornered leeks, stir-fried it, added some green lentils that I cooked a few days ago and had it with a freebie packet of instant noodles.
Not bad at all!!
