Today was fried Halloumi, fried egs and baked beans. Simple but tasty. Smile
Tomorrow is Tuna Tuesday so NO pies for you, Mr Vinny. Tongue
Yes there is! Tongue In fact I couldn't wait and had one for brekkie!
I am only trying to stick religeously with Meatless Mondays and Fishy Fridays. The other days were too restrictive and causing too much waste. If possible I stick to original plan but no-way am I chucking food away because it doesn't fit into my daily routine. Rolleyes
Todays main meal will be steak pie (btw they are scrumptious), chips with skin left on and salad! Big Grin

Sarriss go to an Asian shop and see if you can get a jar of  Mr Yoes Satay sauce, I use this as the base of my chicken satay add some coconut milk, fish sauce, chicken stock pot and loads of hot chillies I also add some pineapple pieces and juice. Stir fry your meat and veg then add to the sauce Makes the best satay ever. Don’t forget some lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice.

Thank you - I will try that! I can make that slimming world friendly too Smile

Cheap food today - mostly from the little shop at the end of the garden
Lunch was a sourdough bread (free) sandwich with beetroot and chard as filling
Dinner was a stirfry of chard stalks and leaves, radish and mustard leaves with Filo prawns (Christmas party food) and tamari sauce.
The dehydrator is working on the chard and spinach beet leaves and rosemary as I write.
