My Sisters boyfriend works in a pie factory and landed home with a huge bag of stewing steak that was left over at the end of a pie making run.
I scrounged some and cooked it off whilst cooking other stuff yeaterday. I just need to warm it up in the oven now and with a selection of veg I will prepare to have a ready made Sunday dinner!

Yesterday Carrot, turmeric and bean soup with damson jam sponge and custard for afters.
Today beef and veg casserole from the freezer.

I think I added as much stuff with a short shelf life from the fridge as I could and went through my herbs and spices. Went a bit heavy on the ginger but the star of the show was the 1/3rd of a fresh pineapple I added!
A couple of mini nans helped to temper the heat though.
