Diet coke gammon with spring greens and mash tonight. Chicken kievs for the mister who doesn't like the look of the pink hue of the gammon haha

............and again tonight.!!
Followed by a strawberry  jam and cream scone as a treat.Smile

I'm pleased to say  it will not be tuna etc again tomorrow. I really should have put the leftovers from the 1st night in the freezer but kept forgetting!
I fancy jam sponge pudding and custard so the plan it to have veggie lasagne for lunch then pudding for dinner.

It’s a Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall recipe. Your normal toad in the hole but with the addition of pheasant breast wrapped in bacon. It’s very nice. It’s supposed to have prunes in the pheasant breast but only added  those once they didn’t seem to add much to the dish. However last night we didn’t have any bacon. That made a massive difference. Won’t be making it again without bacon.
Meatballs and pasta tonight
Last night - leek and lentil cottage type pie with instant mash on top. The unopened packet of pommes mousseline was left over gite booty, but despite being organic and with no added ingredients it still produced a thoroughly unpleasant gloopy gooey layer of yuck. But it was free.
Tonight pasta with green sprouting broccoli, roast spicy pumpkin and pesto from a jar (more gite booty).
The chickens are laying lots right now, so eggs, chips and beans tonight Smile

Even when I was a meat-eater I wouldn't have fancied pheasant, prunes and bacon in batter. This is one of HughFW's recipes that doesn't tick any boxes for me, in fact the prunes make me think of him eating slugs!! Sorry I asked. Wink
Tonight is more to your liking veggie  Smile .
Beer battered pollock with chips, peas & onion rings.

To be honest everything has been a bit disappointing after the kidney bean curry.
