And to continue that theme, we're having slow cooked pork belly in chinese marinade with fried rice (and chicken for Jay who doesn't like belly pork).

Whatever is in the Coopland Too good to go bag is for pudding, that Jay is off picking up now.

I'm doing Slow cooker Brisket for the first time today,  along with potatoes, parsnips carrots and peas.  Going to cook a few Yorkshire puds as well.
I gave my brisket an hour in the oven, turning once to brown it all over. Then it was into the slow cooker while I went to a Barre session.Did a bit of shopping at Aldi where I managed to pick up orange sticker roasties minted potatoes, and mixed fresh veg to go with it. Smile

Made a tasty meal with enough left over for another day Cool
Sorry to be different but I've no idea what I'm eating tonight but I'm 100% sure it will not involve a slow cooker or meat. Big Grin
I managed to purchase some yellow sticker smoked haddock and I have a leek in the fridge. With eggs plus rice I am going to try my hand at a leek & Haddock Kedgeree Smile
Finishing of yesterday’s brisket and veg.
Had meatless Monday yesterday with my kedgeree so today I will have another beef brisket dinner with leftoers from Sunday! Cool I have had it on a plate in the fridge but it would probably hae been cooler sitting on the kitchen bench! Rolleyes
B. Sourdough toast & jam
L. Sourdough toast with Taramasalata and coleslaw
D. Chips (10p) with cheese and coleslaw

No idea who much the chips cost but everything else was free.
Last night was more beef cheek curry.
Tonight Staffordshire oatcakes with cheese
Pasta and meatballs in a tomato and mushroom sauce.
Bought a huge yellow sticker family size pack of Chinese stir fry for 30p. Cool Added a handfull of frozen prawns, squid and mussels. Two teaspoons of Chinese salt & chilli pepper seasoning was added and a glug of olive oil.
Wholel lot was cooked in the wok for 6 minutes which left it crunchy and tasty. I was surprised at how much liquid came out of the veg? Made nice 'gravy'though! Big Grin
