Soup and pudding for us just got to decide between crumble or sponge pud.
A new version of bubble & squeak. It was nice, I liked it. Suppose to have an egg on top. That didn’t quite go to plan! I’ll not go into details.
Extra spicy lamb Masaman curry slow cooked for 6 hours, with boiled rice
Burgers and salad.
Can't remember what I ate last night!!
Its coming back - my memory, not the food. It was the remainder of the cooked pasta and courgettes with added mangetout and a small tin of mackerel (free).
Tonight its Waitrose Spiced aubergine and chickpea stew. All the nicer for being Free. Big Grin

The Moneyless Chicken is eating well these days.
For example, breakfast was fresh pineapple chunks with Coconut kefir yogurt and lunch was sourdough fruit loaf with homemade strawberry jam - and a couple of peaches and some raspberries. All FREE. Big Grin
Sweet pepper soup with pesto & pine nut bread. Followed by apple crumble and custard.
Homemade double cheeseburger made with yellow sticker burgers. To acompany it was half a chopped up cabbage from allotment, with bacon and onion, paprika, garlic, chilli flakes all fried together in a wok. Very filling, nutricious and cheap. Smile
Mussels in a cream chilli sauce with the rest of the pine nut bread from yesterday.
Steak with air fried chips, carrots (home grown - yay), cherry tomatoes, Boston gherkins and a small dollop of bearnaise sauce from Sweden (only a dollop because it's VERY calorific!!) for me.
Dirty rice with leftover chicken curry for the mister. His choice, not mine lol
Fish and chips and it’s not even Friday, well it wasn’t when we had it.
