The red quinoa splits its dark shell during cooking and small white "shoots" emerge. It looks like a mound of germinating seeds. It has more texture than rice - I'm becoming a convert.Big Grin
Same as yesterday with extra Tamari.
Pasta and meatballs in a tomato sauce.
Yellow stickered Smoked haddock fish cake with mushy peas made from Hodmedod's Green pea chips (aka dried peas that were broken), seasoned with homemade Oregano and Rosemary salt - more herbs than salt.
Home made burgers tonight - I had one with a bun, and one with two large mushrooms instead of a bun. Lovely! Smile

I’ve had them before with large mushroom & blue cheese instead of the burger between the buns, and enjoyed and I am a carnivore  Big Grin
Last night we had venison steak baguettes.
Not a clue what tonight will be.

I’ve had them before with large mushroom & blue cheese instead of the burger between the buns, and enjoyed and I am a carnivore  Big Grin

I like anything with mushrooms and blue cheese. Smile

This evening its cheese on toast for us.

Same as yesterday with more butter on the peas.
