Veggie sausages x 3 (yellow stickered to 40p a bag of 6) . They were OK too - glad I bought 4 bags of them.
...........and of course, Courgettes x 4 (20p meal)
Tomorrow will be the other 3 sausages and something, wonder what?
Lamb bhuna, rice, naans, pickle, and a yoghurt/cuc dip.
That will finish of Sundays roast lamb.
The 3 veggie sausages left from last night (20p). 1 large field mushroom cut into slices that looked disturbingly like slugs when fried (also yellow stickered 3 for about 50p) and a big dollop of homemade rhubarb, onion and mint chutney made earlier this year from garden odds and ends.
Rerun of last night roast beef. With added mashed potato . To make up the lack of roasties
Orange sticker chicken chow mein with a full chopped head of calabrese and avocado on the side.
With the building heatwave I'm trying to do cool dishes, and ones that are easy to cook in the back utility kitchen to avoid heating the main house.
Yesterday warm pasta salad - courgettte, lemon, mushrooms & mascarpone. A new recipe that will be repeated!
Tonight chilled roast spiced pumpkin and yoghurt soup with foccacia.
Cheese and onion flan, Charlottes with a garden salad.
Yellow sticker Vegan "Chinese style No Chick'n Drumsticks" (62p) with microwaveable rice (Free).
Remind me to never buy those "drumsticks" again, even if they're so cheap they pay me to take them. It was the sauce that was the final straw. Left a lingering taste that I'm not enjoying.

I can get away with veggie fish and some veggie sausages, but all the other meat derivitives including, mince, chicken and bacon are absolutely gross!
