A surprise Change of plans. We got given about 1kg of sprats. So we had those . First fresh fish we’ve had in a very long time. They were lovely. Coated in seasoned flour and deep fried with bread & butter and a mustard mayo.
roast will be tomorrow night and it’ll be lamb shoulder.
Mackerel salad for lunch then soup with toasted cheese sandwiches this evening.
Brunch was oven cooked lamb, fried breakfast patties and prawns with the butter I cooked the patties in poured over them. Not sure what to have later but it could be beef mince & onion or YS smoked cod?

NOTE: Finished up being sweet Harrisa coooked chicken breasts in the oven. Very tasty!
Brunch was steak n eggs at 10.30. Late lunch at 1.30 (or dinner in my neck of the woods) was Yellow sticker pork ribs, some in Chinese Five Spice and others in Harissa rub! Nothing more now until tomorrow! Sick
B. Strawberries, granola & yogurt
L. Sourdough toast with cheese
D. Omelette and baked beans.

King prawn curry
Fried marinated tofu, stir fry veg (beans, mangetout, carrots, courgettes & garlic) with the marinade (soy, rice vinegar, sesame oil, syrup, garlic, ginger & chilli powder) as a sauce with rice.
Burgers topped with mushrooms and Stilton then mixed lettuce and homemade coleslaw.
Tonight will be the last of the lamb shoulder. How or what with will be decided when I’ve worked out how much actual meat is still left.
