Not normally my 'fishy' day but I bought some YS smoked cod/haddock so I need to use it up. Rolleyes

For the first time ever, I also bought some fresh sardines. My plan is to butterfly fillet them and try them grilled as a starter! Huh

Edit:-Well that wasa bit of an anticlimax with the sardines. I thinkI actually prefer them from a tin!!!! I have had feshly caught mackeral fillets grilled before and they were much better than tinned versions..........but not so, sardines!
Looking forward to the smoked haddock/cod later though!
Sardines are good on the BBQ.
Undecided if it’s going to be curry or stir fry. Either way it’ll be venison and mushrooms.
