Meatles Monday is back again and I was at a loss what to make?
Came up with combining fried eggs, deep fried grilling cheese slices and the veg leftovers from yesterday Sunday dinner.
I had my carbs with porridge, blueberries and chopped dates for brekkie!
Bacon, egg & mushrooms on toast.
First time I’ve eaten mushrooms in over 10 year. I’ll let you know in an hour if that was a wise decision or not! They did taste good though.
Fingers crossed, SC.
B. Sourdough toast and jam
L. Sourdough fruited malt loaf with mashed banana
D Smoky vegan Chilli with rice (£4 from Waitrose - Free from the Church).
All FREE

Similar to my main meal for today. Dry fried Bacon & mushrooms (a whole punnet as they were past SBD) and mixed beans in tomato sauce.
PS Was it a wise decision?
The mushrooms were a wise choice.
Tonight is venison curry unfortunately not including mushrooms. Only because none at the shop today.

Todays main meal was belly pork chopped up into 30mm pieces and marinated in Chinese Five Spic and cooked in oven. This was served with mashed swede and brocolli.
I used Chinese salt and pepper mix as a condiment and this turned the swede in particular into something special!
Pheasant casserole with jacket potatoes for us.
