Its a while since I've cooked with tofu but I remember cubing it, dipping the cubes in soy sauce, then sesame seeds and frying it. If you don't have sesame seeds, maybe cornflour or ordinary flour would do.

! I lurve seame seeds on sticky chicken wings!
I once used pre marinated tofu, marinated in soy sauce and it was great, but this stuff was a nightmare.
Do you drain it/dry it before cooking it?

I took it out the packaging and drained the water off. I then cut it into 20mm chunks on a chopping board. I carefully put the chunks into a frying pan with hot oil. Tried to pre-cook it for 10 minutes before adding the veg. In that time it hadn't browned and just starte dfalling apart so I put the veg in, mixed it up and was left with tofu mince!
The whole lot looked like something the dog had thrown up!
Mushroom and Stilton toasties this evening.
It's P's birthday so he's chosen roast lamb and chocolate roulade, hopefully not on the same plate

COST 10p plus the lentils - no idea but they were Best before June 2021.
