Another random thought. Do you remember the sitcom with Uncle Stavely who had a hearing horn, his stock phrase was 'Pardon, I heard that' Might have been I Didn't Know You Cared.

Yep that's him. Initially I thought he was in Pleges Pickles (Hilda Baker & Jimmy Jewel) but I was wrong. I bet both were equally unPC along with Til Death Do Us Part.
I've led a sheltered life - I don't remember Pleges Pickles either - but I do remember Til Death etc. So many series would be unPC now.

Pardon, I heard that! I am feeling 'old' as I remember enjoying all of those. Liked 'Never mind the quality, feel the width' as well along with Faulty towers and Boys from the Blackstuff to name a few.

IN today came 2 books - an Allotment Gardening Book and a book of Dal recipes. Also, a 2 compartment pedal bin to help with sorting the recycling.
Tomorrow, I'm picking up an Air Fryer. Not sure what its like except its a Tower one. Looks pretty basic - like me really.
