I forgot to tell you about my INs and OUTs.
IN came 50+ items of Avon toiletries - all new. Mostly, shampoos, shower gel, hand and body lotions. With the best of intentions, there is no way I can, or want to, use all this stuff. Two of each would have been ample so, today, I donated most of it to a lady who was collecting for a hostel. In return, she gave me a big bag of food - tins of tuna and meat, steamed puds, biscuits, pasta, coffee, tea, flour, curry sauce, hot chocolate and more. I'll give the items I don't want to one of the churches - then I can collect more food from them. Big Grin
I found these on one of the free apps today.

One storage box with interlocking flaps/lid, one old recycling box, and 10 stacking plastic crates (the kind they bring grocery deliveries in). I walked 0.6 miles each way to collect them (luckily uphill on the way there and not back!). At least two people looked at me quite pointedly and without the merest response to my smile as I passed them on the street.

Undeterred and unchastised, I remain well pleased, although I'm not sure what I'll do with the crates yet. Is there a recycling ideas/what do I do with this thing thread?
Well done DJ. Try this https://gardenandgossip.org/showthread.p...ght=crates

I'm using some as mini raised beds.
I knew I could count on you, Veggie. Thanks!
IN came......... 80, yes 80 beef burgers and 2 bags of veggie sausages - all leftover from an Easter Fayre. The sausages felt a bit too limp for me to eat them so I'm cooking them for the dogs (don't tell them they're meat-freeWink) Most of the burgers were still frozen so they're in the freezer and the remainder will be eaten soon.

OUT went a bag of broken terracotta pots. One man's junk etc
Not sure I'd have freezer space for 80 burgers!
Yesterday out went a double bed frame and a footstool.
Another dirty change over. Which means food was left. So I came home with Eggs, pasta, mayonnaise, chocolate biscuits, balsamic vinegar, Demerara sugar and bagels.

Out went a crate full of plant pots and trays. I’ve not used them in the 9 years I’ve been here, so I’m guessing I probably won’t.
Nice haul, SC. Smile
Forgot to say that yesterday, I picked up a 5 tier Vonshef dehydrator. Its about half the size of the Excalibur so could be useful for those little bits and pieces.
Out yesterday went more Jam Jars AGAIN. The French don’t seem to be into Freecycle they would rather send it to Landfill!!!!!
