IN today came another little gadget - a "5 minute Chef" cooker thingy, bit like a sandwich toaster without the grill bits. Supposed to cook an omelette in 5 minutes as it cooks from the bottom and the top at once. Another gadget I haven't tried that may end up being re-offered to the locals. Before you ask - No, I haven't made any brownies yet.
Also IN today an Amaryllis bulb, with compost & pot, that just needed planting. I have done that. Big Grin
In’s today a spinning wheel. Electric spiralizer . Clothes. Curtains. Photo frames. Patchwork double throw. And a big 3x2 meter rug. All from charity shops, some I paid a little for but most were free.
IN today - 3 Sourdough loaves, 4 fruit bostocks and a Chocolate orange doughnut. Also 2 books and a Vanilla scented candle from the "Help yourself" box outside the sourdough collector's door. Big Grin
Never met a Bostock before, had to goggle. Sounds scrummy.
IN today came a bag of herb teabags, 3 boxes of fishy sushi, stir fry veg, 8 cinnamon rolls, ciabatta rolls and 8 tiger batons that were going to be wasted - I'll freeze these.
Just 3 rolls of sticky labels IN today that I'm hoping to use for seed packets.
Went to Church and a Seed Swap today - neither were as productive as usual. Sad
The shortage of veg has hit the church as they'd split bags of carrots into smaller bags so that everyone could have some. Even bread was rationed to one loaf a person.
The Seed swap, my annual highlight, was a similar disappointment. I took a bag of books along, as they usually have a garden book stall, but there wasn't one. Most of the usual stall holders weren't there and the seed choice was nowhere need as good as the other swap I went too. Fortunately, I don't really need more seeds.Wink
Also IN, a big box of cleaning stuff, sprays, dusters and some wax melts. I'm thinking of starting a cleaning stuff museum - its good to know I have it but I feel no great urge to use it. Big Grin
IN today came 3 Sourdough loaves, 2 doughnuts and 4 pastries of some sort. Sadly, no Bostocks this week.
Went to the Other Church this morning - they seemed a bit short on food too - although I was late. Picked up some bread, potatoes, tangerines, coleslaw, double cream, prawn thingies and a bunch of thyme.
Afterwards, I collected some oatcakes, crispbread, porridge oats, tinned soup, rice and a bag of chocolate raisins. Big Grin
The lady I collected these from has a hip problem and has difficulty gardening. I've met her before and we talk plants. She said that she'd have to get somebody in to dig up a plant in the corner so, naturally, I offered to do it for her - it was a big Sedum. Having dug it up and levelled the soil I asked her what she was going to grow there. Next thing, she's staggering across the garden with a Pieris in a pot! So I unlevelled the soil and planted the Pieris. Now, I have to plant the Sedum in my garden. Big Grin

OUT today went the old chicken playhouse to be played in by chickens in another garden. Also some dishwater salt, cleaning tablets and BBQ cleaner - none of which I will use. With the playhouse gone, I gain another bit of ground to grow things in - not Sedum though.
Out yesterday, most of my maternity and early baby clothes plus newborn baby odds and ends. The couple that collected them were so lovely and messaged again after with their thanks.
