Glad they helped, SC. They're still as crazy as ever but I wouldn't be without them!

Surely not. It seems like last week!
You have to find some of their puppy pics too, just for those of us who weren't around much then. You could be recycling them to a new audience.
They’re so lovely
. No doubt the very best gardeners little helpers you could ask for
.
Spud and Ted are the hole diggers - driving me bonkers digging holes everywhere they shouldn't - like beside little fruit trees and undermining them! They're convinced that moles/mice/voles live there although they haven't caught any recently.
Bess is the apple collector. Constantly bringing me windfall apples to throw and dropping them at my feet or in my bucket if I ignore her
They also like tomatoes and sit in the GH waiting for me to pick them some. Dear Bess was sitting on my lettuce seedlings today - don't fancy their chances now.
.............and, getting back to Free stuff, they were the ultimate Freebies - Buy one dog, get 5 Free.
Today's INs were 4 sourdough loaves.
IN - Two containers of Washing machine liquid - 25 washes in each. That'll do me for a few months.
OUT - some books to the Morries charity stand.
This will amuse you!
Someone had offered 4 pairs of new trousers, size 32, on the free site. Two pairs were still in their packaging. I thought that Size 32 referred to the waist size as that's the size jeans I buy.
When I brought them home it was clear that Size 32 meant something a lot larger, probably twice the size of a size 16. I could have turned one leg of these into a dress!
The even worse thing is, when the rather large lady gave them to me I said that, if they didn't fit, I'd regift them. She didn't bat an eyelid! She could, at least, have laughed and said they may be a bit big for you.
