IN came a wall clock for the hall, as the one I had had gone to clock heaven, along with the Halogen oven, which went bang a couple of days ago. Fortunately, I'd already acquired a spare Halogen oven or three.

Went to Church this morning! Came away with 9 packs of pigs in blankets, 2 packs of Not pigs in Duvets (vegetarian!) and a pack of DIY pigs in blankets aka Sausages and bacon. Easy to tell that Christmas is over! The dogs will love these! Two packs of Gyozas too.
Also parsnips, spinach, Florence fennel, potatoes, tenderstem broccoli, lettuce, radish and lots of packs of cut sage and thyme that I'll try to root.
Plus doughnuts, cinnamon whirls, bread and rolls.

The freezers are so full I've had to turndown the sourdough bread that I've just been offered.

That's you and the dogs set up with free meals for next week, can't be bad.

Only bread at the church yesterday I came home with dozen wholemeal rolls and couple of bags of pita breads.

I’d planned on baking today so I knew I’d have problems fitting anymore in the freezers.

An OLIO collection this evening :-
Smoked mackerel fillets, 3 packs of roast chicken slices, meatballs & sausage rolls.

Its been a good day for Free Food.

IN - A sourdough loaf, 2 sourdough doughnuts and 2 Stollen. Also a jar of Jelly Beans.
Nowt OUT.

IN came 18 tins of dog food (the dog couldn't eat wet food!) and a 2023 Diary. Wonder how long this one will last before I forget to write in it?

IN came 3 x 2kg bags of potatoes (Nectar), 3 loaves of bread and 5 notebooks. One of these has squared paper and I have a vague plan to message each garden bed and plot it.
OUT went the last of the Pork Scratchings.

IN came 5 small packs of cheese (cheese board size), a bag of cupboard clearouts including pasta sauce, mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce and mandarin oranges and...........11 pairs of socks from the girl who writes reviews for Amazing - she had over 30 pairs to review! How much can you say about socks??
OUT went a rack from the defunct halogen oven to someone who needed it.

A bottle of lemon juice & a spray bottle of olive oil. Left at holiday cottage
