Years ago there was a TV documentary about an old man called Mr Trebus who was an inveterate hoarder........any relation?? Big Grin
We have nothing like that here Veggie! Well we do have Freecycle but I’ve never seen anything on it I would want!
I have used freecycle and freegle here, but as you say Jay, there's nothing much interesting on it. Mostly people ask for stuff, but not so much given away.

Old Buster Trebus = he was my gt gt grand uncle from Skipland. Big Grin
INs - 3 loaves of sliced bread, 6 custard tarts, a bag of bread rolls and some Milk chocolate orange cookies (from one of the OLIO collectors) and some dog treats - chicken dumbells that look like popcorn on a stick and an Antler!. Not too sure about that so I'll give it to my brother for his big dog. She'll probably use it as a toothpick. Big Grin
OUT went some Perennial leek seedlings.
The Sourdough bread collector and I have a special relationship! She knows that I always want bread, will always turn up on time to collect it and will always take more bread if its leftover. Before she offers the bread on OLIO she messages me to say that she's put aside a couple of loaves - but to ask for more if I want it.
That's the background to my story, which is.............
This morning I went to pick up my two loaves and was told that 2 people hadn't turned up to collect their bread and there was likely to be more bread for me but she wouldn't know for half an hour.
My brother lives in the next road so I went to see him and kill some time. I had the Dog treat antler for his dog anyway.  Of course, when I got there, he was out - walking his dogs - so what could I usefully do for half an hour - weed his front garden!!
When I went back for the bread there were 3 more loaves so I went back to my brothers to give him some bread......and he still wasn't back.
He has a safe place for post and parcels - a compost bin Big Grin  so I put the bread and antler in the bin and came home. Rang him tonight and I don't know what upset me most - that he hadn't found the bread in the bin or hadn't noticed that I'd weeded his garden!!
I'll take a book next time. Big Grin
Just one IN today - a big green dustbin. Perfect for storing the chopped straw that I use in the chicken coop and keeping it safe from vermin.
Another outdoor IN today - a plastic container that's the size of a small pond/bath. Bigger than a baby's bath but smaller than a human bath. Its now attached to the waterbutt overflow and is big enough to dunk a watering can in. I've put a metal grid in it as a ladder, in case anything small falls in.
Today I've arranged for trailer loads of both fresh and well rotted horse manure. The lady is dropping off the fresh stuff first, so I will start setting up the veg beds with the manure I got last year that's still in the compost bins, and along with my own compost from last year. The bottom stuff is ready to use.

She will then bring the trailer full of well rotted stuff, as long as I fill the trailer up, and empty it.

All she wants for it is home made cake. I can't quite believe my luck lol
IN came 20 chitted seed potatoes - Charlotte and Maris Piper, Also some cushions for garden furniture (mine have seen better days), a bag full of small ziplock bags for seed swapping and a wax burner.
OUT went 6 courgette plants.
