Unloaded the trailer. Refilled the trailer. Planted out tromboncino in the tunnel bed.
Cut a client's grass.
Watered seedlings and seed rows. Topped up the water dishes around the garden.
Pricked out 35 lettuces & a dozen winter cabbages.
Harvested the garlic.
Planted out some lavender plants at the plot.

Tidied / rejigged the strawberry nettings.

Watered some of the plot.
Went shopping a day early to get the job out of the way, I'm expecting a new water tank tomorrow. I might even get a bath tomorrow night, sheer luxury. BUT, I'm not counting my chickens, things could go wrong.
Watered this morning and did a load of harvesting, pruned the vines and watered again this evening.
Lost a couple of aubergines in the heat and a pumpkin or two look frazzled. Hot and getting hotter: the weather station reads 2-3 degrees high and gave 40.1 this afternoon.  Angry  Put a parasol up for the newly planted lettuces!
Thank goodness for the solar panels running the aircon during the day.
But I got the duvet washed, dried and re-fluffed in double quick time Smile
Attacked the "rockery" - a fanciful name for a pile of big rocks in a roughly semi-circular shape. I first "built" it over the roots and stumps of some spindly conifers that had been cut down. If you can't remove something, cover it over to hide it.
It used to be a pretty herb bed but, the ever present montbretia has crept in and swamped anything attractive. My plan is to remove all trace of the montbretia, stack the rocks at the back of the mound in a vague dry stone wall shape and lower the height of the soil in front of it.
If I can acquire some slabs, I might pave it ........who knows?
A Scarlet Tiger Moth, resting on a montbretia leaf stopped me from finishing the uprooting. Maybe tomorrow it will have moved on and I can have another crack at it.
Finished strimming the build site.
Planted out some foxglove seedlings and tried to empty the last of the dahlias in pots from the greenhouse - too hot for me so I abandoned it all and made some jewellery instead Smile o wish I had the energy to dig a new bed.. lots of seedlings g without a home to go to.
Constructed two bamboo cane teepees for the miniature pumpkins, Baby Boo (white) and Jack Be Little (orange). I planted some climbing nasturtiums as well for decoration and hopefully they'll help attract insects for pollination too.

Also planted out two extra Crystal Apple cucumbers alongside some Canary Creeper vine.

Sowed some biennials (foxglove, wallflower, sweet rocket and sweet william) and potted up some chitted beans I'd had problem germinating.
Cut the grass yesterday and suffering ever since, my hay fever is really playing up and the pollen count is really high.
Not been able to do anything really useful in the garden, watered plants in the poly tunnel
