I took another dozen Chrysanthemum cuttings today. Like Vinny I don't use any rooting powder, they don't need it.
They do like a bit of gentle warmth though, so I've got the tray stood on a heated propagator in the greenhouse.

We now have a magnificent wildlife pile of unusable wood; MrPP was not impressed given the time and chainsaw fuel to fell and log it. But the bugs and beasts will be happy, and just think of the the eventual compost!!  Big Grin

Today I mulched the rose bed with starting to break down chippings and then started clearing what will be the leek plot. I'll sow phacelia when it's clear, hopefully by the end of tomorrow.
There was a couple of bits that were mushy in the centre, so thanks for the info PP, I just put it down to water getting into the wood
Nowt garden related today, strted to clean out my car so I can part exchange it. It was full of fishing gear which permanently stayed there nd i need to clean seats where kato has had his mucky paws. Still a bit to parky out to do that though so i will have to see what the weather brings tomoz! Rolleyes

Psyching myself up for Rockfit this evening. Smile
Sowed some seeds and tidied up the crocosmia leaves in the garden as they were looking tatty and the spring bulbs want to pop up.
Nothing in the garden - far too wet and windy.
Collected a Wormery and dreamed of summer days.
I re-sowed the Early Jalapenos that haven't come up. Same old seed so they will probabl;y fail again - I've ordered some more and will sow one last lot this weekend.

I potted up some London Pride that I rescued from the overgrown rockery in the autumn. I had stuffed them in a seed tray with a little compost, now I've got a dozen rosettes, each in their own pot.

More rain expected tomorrow Sad
Finished clearing the weeds and mole & vole runs from what will be the leek bed and sowed phacelia. It's old seed so probably won't germinate, but I have some more.
Due to rain all day tomorrow so I'm gearing up for a day doing the housework and cracking through my 7 chores. Or maybe just read a book!
2 from my 7/10 list, I think it will indoor jobs tomorrow.

3#Harvest remaining parsnips
5#Move plastic raised bed netting frames at the plot and reinforce with tape
Shopping, then made lunch/dinner and Box/core and Rockfit later today. Smile
Sowed cabbages and fescue glauca.
Cleaned a load of pots.
Repotted 4 pots of lemongrass.
Cut the edges on the hot bed, cut back the ornamental grasses, and weeded and mulched about half the bed.
