Started cutting down another plum tree but most of it was too high for me to reach with loppers. Don't say anything, Boss. Tongue
Rain off and on all day which didn't help.
Collected seeds, cleaned seeds, cut some seed heads and hung them in the tunnel to finish drying.

I had to check the spelling on google as it just didn't look right! Rolleyes
Mowed a bit and used the grass to mulch round a flower bed I've just weeded for the umpteenth time. baked some bread and bottled some tomatoes.
Two more diseased plum trees and a big sucker cut down. Branches stacked to dry out ready for a bonfire. Don't want to shred it in case it spreads disease elsewhere.
On the bright side, its opened up part of the garden to the light and gives me another patch to play in.
The penstemons from T&M arrived this afternoon, so potted them on and put them in the gh. We're forecast some cold nights and a possible frost Sad but the weathermen can't agree on that
Where an antirrhinum grew in the centre of the veg bed and went to seed there are lots of little seedlings, so I pricked some out into modules and they too went in the gh
Pulled up the climbing french beans that had been flattened along with their frame. Pulled all the beans off and put them in the tunnel to dry. A little earlier than intended. But no point leaving them on the ground for the mice to eat. Potted up a selection of cuttings. Sown seeds.
Collected a Wormery and set it up in the GH. Pouring rain stopped any outdoor play.
Out early, walked Kato, attended Boot Camp, went for coffee and bacon sarnie at Morries, attended Barre session,a bit of shopping then on to allotment. Smile

At allotment shifted muck onto beds, took chrysanths I had grown to Helen's grave, came home and washed muck off my indoor training shoes ready for tomorrow. Rolleyes
Cooked and ate dinner and now taking Kato for a long walk in the sunshine. Tonight will hopefully be some boxing on telly then beddy byes! Big Grin
Cut down some more suckering plums; these were growing through an apple tree and it had taken me a while to realise that that the leaves were not apple leaves! Pruned the apple tree while I was a wielding the loppers. Need a saw to get through the sucker trunks but that's for another day.
Lifted the wormery onto one of those IKEA shoeracks that were lying around and gave the little worms some salad leaves for their dinner.
Cut down some brambles in Strip 2, working my way down it gradually.
