Collected another cage!
Sowed seeds for Leaf Day, did some pruning of the fruit bushes in the North strip, pulled up a lot of nettles, ivy and brambles for the green waste collection tomorrow - filled the bin.
Always satisfying!

All my green waste is composted including nettels, thistles and brambles!
In fact the only thing I don't compost is meat products , plastic, glass and clubroot
The poor bin man would be out of a job if he relied on my output.
I don't compost anything with thorns - holly, brambles, thistles or nettles, ivy, dock or anything with seed heads. I feel no shame.
I've already mentioned what I did this morning and afternoon on another post, but this evening I tried something different.
I did a half hour Barre class at 6.00 till 6.30 and didn't have a Box n Core session until 7.15. In between these two sessions i was just going to go somewhere for a coffee but decided to partake in a Kangoo Boots session which was after the Barre session.
I can safely say its the hardest session i have ever had, particularily as it was followed by a boxing session concentrating on sitting down on your punches and utilising full power (power i didn't know I had)
I usually take a spare tee shirt with me as the first one gets sweaty. Both tee shirts were sweaty after this evenings workout and I looked like I had been in a heavy rain downpour!
To give you an idea of what a Kangoo boots work out is check this out, its quite intense!

I must admit, mussl and oyster shells and even egg shells take a long time to break down. I keep digging up mussel shells five years after I used the compost on the land!
So far have been for a walk down the lane. Saw 2 wild bees on the side of the road and it looked like one was having a piggy back. I tried taking a picture but it is too blurred. Reminded me of when the children were young and one daughter remarked that the male ducks we had were lazy as they were always having piggy backs off the ducks.
Hoping to plant out my onion seedlings this afternoon even though quite small. I don't think they will grow much bigger now in the pots.

Cleared a bit of ground for a new flower bed in the North Strip. Its against a fence where there's a rose and some honesty - and lots of brambles and couch grass. Sowed flower seeds there
Did some potting up of cuttings and seed sowing in GH3.
I recycled my coffee pods and put the coffee on my blueberry beds
Weeded containers and tubs, removed bolted lettuce.
Made jam, sourdough oatcakes and dehydrated apples.
