My lusting days are well over, but I can reminisce Smile
Morning all

Brrr it feels a bit parky todayCry .
I promised Kato I would take him to the moors for a walk but my car is full of cardboard. Rolleyes He will get a local walk this morning then I will shoot to allotment to offload the cardboard and probably potter on a bit. Undecided
Back home I will progress with my kitchen unit build on my camper then head for the moors with Kato later in the day. Still persevering with the shorts but its starting to get a bit drafty round the nether regions lately. Cry If women can wear skirts all year round there is really no reason why I should ditch the shorts?
Might have to resort to shorts and long-johns though! Big Grin
We women sometimes wear tights or stocking to keep the legs warm, something to consider Vinny, although the image it conjours up is enough to frighten the livestock Smile. Hope Kato gets his proper walk eventually. Have a good one.
Evening Smile

I've put my shorts away its been a bit to cool for them these last couple of days, if it keeps up I'll be tempted to wear a pair of lined trousers I'm not used to this weather just yet,

Oh my goodness hahaha
Morning all

Fancy a bit of fishing today. I was up by the water I fish on up Weardale (Waskerley) yesterday walking Kato. It was blowing a hooligan in my face going one way and on the return to car the wind was behind me and I had to hang on tight to Kato as it was bowling him along! Rolleyes

I did notice that no one was fishing (can't imagine why?) Big Grin If I do go up there today I may have my, I don't think they are called  Long John's anymore but baseline trousers? Anyway they are tight and stretchy, and with no one around I can still wear my shorts over them. Cool

I usually have fish to eat on Friday so a freshly caught trout would go down nicely!

Morning All - hang on, just realised the time............Afternoon All. Big Grin
I'm just been to the home of someone who is crazier than me! The tree in her front garden is covered with knitted animals and insects that she makes. She takes them down 3 times a year, and changes them for a different collection - you can guess which ones will be going up next!
Her back garden was incredible - a playground for grownups. The walls were painted with flowers and various backdrops. One corner behind the garage was the "beach" with deckchairs on a bed of shingle. The walls were painted with breaking waves, a lighthouse and palm trees.
The flower bed was full of "slugs", "snails" and "caterpillars" that she makes by filling socks with cement, elastic bands round the socks make segments for the bodies.
There was coloured bunting everywhere - cut from discarded paddling pools so they're waterproof and don't fade.
I felt like a big kid, oohing and aahing at all the things I could find.
I admired her garden flowers and showed her how to take cuttings and she's just messaged me with a photo of 12 jam jars full of cuttings!!
Funny how days turn out! I went there to pick up a freebie book and ended up, an hour later feeling like I'd been to Disneyland. Smile
Evening all
Caught a Rainbow trout earlier and had it with chips and peas at lunch time. Cool I got to the water at 11.00am and left with my lunch at noon. Rolleyes

I fancied some Hallumi which I would normally shallow fry in the frying pan.I had cooked my chips in the Wok so rather than dirty another pan I decided to deep fry my Halloumi. It seemed to take ages to brown and floated to the top as it cooked, but it was worth the wait.

I can say hand on heart I will never shallow fry Halloumi again. It wasn't as squeaky, it wasn't as salty and it had a nice golden brown tasty crust! Even Kato liked it! Smile
Vinny that was a quick catch Smile do you know I've never tried Hallumi I think its because it doesn't look very appealing in the packet, I ought to to give it a try.
I did like Tartar sauce after I tried that was the first time a few months ago its especially nice on fishfinger and lettuce cobs.
Bren, halloumi is delicious, lovely and salty. We have it as part of a cooked breakfast. Now where’s that frying pan…yum!
