I'm wondering what happens at a slip and slide party. Huh

Yesterday P cut some of the grass and I mulched!  An ideal time to do so after the rain. The tidy veg patch now looks like a compost heap.  I hope the beans and corn appreciate it.

Today it's drizzling so I might be forced into housework, either that or dye my hair, the grey is taking over Sad  I've put it off for so long not wanting to be inside in the nice weather
Morning all

Grass cutting and chain sawing on the cards for today with a visit to the allotment at some time during the day. Smile

TTFN
Morning, I think I’m having a senior moment but I can’t figure out how to start a new thread...I’m sure I’ve done it before but just can’t remember!! Smile

Thought I'd share my funny old day with you - move along if you're not interested!
I picked up a freebie, small dog crate this morning and popped into Morries on the way back for a couple of necessary bits. Somehow, I managed to buy 69 items, 59 of which were unplanned and cost £26 in total.Smile
I have 10 punnets of apricots, 4 of peaches, 4 boxes of grapes, 2 nets of tangerines, 8 mangoes, blueberries, nectarines, persimmons, mushrooms, iceberg lettuces...........and lots of prawns, fish, pork chops and pork steaks, lamb chops, beef mince - goodness knows what else - its mostly in the freezer now.
Of necessity, I bought sugar and pectin, ready for jam making.
Don't know where to start!! Sitting here eating a bunch of grapes seems a good option, while I think.Smile
Maybe apricot jam and mango chutney??
Pork, lamb, beef?? I thought you were veggie! All yellow stickered I hope Smile
