^^^YUK!!
Ewww! Look on the bright...ish side, it's one less live rat you might encounter in the garden.
Yesterday evening P went off to the Parish Council planning meeting.  He's not on the council but makes an effort to be the one and only member of the public there,  just to make the very ineffective, insular, mini politicians accountable. The councillors all have their own agendas and cliques and are frequently battling each other rather than looking after the parish they serve.  You get the picture. It's held in the hall which is a sturdy large nissen hut structure. It was quite warm so all doors were open.

Proceedings commence, barbed comments begin , points of order called.  Then second very vocal member of the public arrived voicing her opinion of matters, P had company!

She walked up to the chair of the meeting vocalising and clucking,  fully intent on staying, but was ceremoniously picked up and put  outside.  Only to return making it clear she was not to be excluded from important matters of village concern.  She was evicted a second time and they had to close the doors!  P found it hilarious,  none of the councillors saw the funny side at all, that in itself shows what  duff council it is.  Big Grin
Eggcellent!!
What an Entrance and Eggsit, She'll' have my vote. Smile
No animal antics here today....well not yet!

Got to do the obligatory shopping trip this morning Sad
I'm lurking around the house this morning awaiting delivery of my random parcel of 25-40 non-fiction books!!!
Any guesses how many there'll be and how many are of interest to an animal (not rats) loving, pseudo gardener who has little interest in sport or politics?
No animal stories here either just watching the birds trying to pick Rowan berries from very thin branches is entertaining enough for me.

Veggie I'll go with 31 books and 9 of them will be interesting.
I will say 34, with the highlight being "Knitting through the ages"
The box has arrived!! 37 books. Smile
The top book was about "Irritable Bowel Syndrome", closely followed by "The Middle Class ABC - a loo book". Smile
There may be more unfortunate connections in there too. Big Grin
^^^ I was just about to guess that but you announced it before I could!
Enjoy your reading time!! Big Grin
