Morning all. Feeling my aches and pains after a trip to Kielder Reservoir fishing yesterday Rolleyes : One of my sons got badly sunburned, but it serves him right as he's in his thirties and should know better.

Plenty of fish caught observing social distancing with family so no hugging , but still a pleasant day out. Smile

Need to get to greenhouse this morning as it had no water yesterday.

Compost to procure, then toms and chillies to pot up into their final position

First of all though dog to walk after swallowing pain killing pills to allow me to walk. Rolleyes

Enjoy the sunshine.
Hi y'all. Another hot one. A mountain of jobs to do, it's just deciding which gets priority. Hope it's a good one for all of you.
Morning All!
Watering done and all the houseplants have come out onto the covered terrace for their summer holidays.
Off for a motorcycle ride with friends today - a picnic in the mountains, sitting at opposite ends of a table, obviously!!
Have a good day everyone.
Afternoon, it’s a beautiful day!! Time for a sit in the garden as it was a bit chilly in the breeze yesterday!
Hope you all have a lovely day! x
I am indeed Jay. I've organised the other half to tidy my greenhouse and dig over the borders ready to plant tomatoes whilst I plant beans and sweetcorn outside. It looks like being a really productive day.
Afternoon everybody I’ve been stuck inside working looking out at the lovely sunshine. So I Have booked the next 2 days off work and Monday is a bank holiday so a nice long weekend for me.
Evening All. What a hot one today. Never mind the plants wilting, I need a watering myself.......................although a glass of red seems to be doing the trick.
Did some more "path" clearing in the shade. Mrs Chicken helped me by doing some pruning of the gooseberry bushes. That's a few less for the crumble.
Planted out a few Bijou mangetout in a planter that normally has sweet peas. the flowers are almost are beautiful and you get peas. Smile
Vinny, that reservoir looks beautiful!!

I've had a monster week at work and I'm knackered. Two more days at work, then three days off.

Ikea is reopening on Monday, so I might treat myself to a lonesome trip to Sheffield. I need to dining room chairs, and if I buy the chairs, I might get a shift on with doing up the dining table that I bought to paint Smile
