I think you've all had long enough to think about that one so here's today's little puzzle:-
If a lion has 4 legs,, a cheetah 6 legs and an antelope 8 legs, how many legs has a buffalo?
EDIT
Part 2 How many legs has a Centipede and a Millipede?

I've edited the puzzle and added a Part 2.
8 apiece for Part 2, I think
..............but, you're not answering the question, read it again.

OK a buffalo has 6 legs
Using the same formula a Millipede and a Centipede together have 16, but I have a sneaking suspicion the goal posts are changing.
Well done, JJB - its 16, because of the "and".
Have an easy one on me!!
Change one letter in each word to form three new words with a common theme.

That would make it 17! Assuming we are still excluding the preceding "a" each time as we did in part 1.
Centipede + Millipede = 8 + 8 = 16
