This week has been lots more head scratching, ordering things, putting up fascia’s ready for guttering. Which apparently has been delivered. Not here obviously, but it’s been delivered somewhere (perfectly normal for up here).

Removed some scaffolding today and put it up again around the apex of the living room.

Very pleased with how this end of the house looks now scaffolding is down.
Very smart. Good job you're not in an urban setting, prime real estate for tagging and graffiti, as it is you have a lovely bit of house to show off the hard work.
Until gutters & down pipes or windows arrive there’s nothing we can do to the the outside of the house.
So today I tidied up around the outside of the house so there’s as few trip hazards as possible ready for windows. Bob started put our fencing up. That’s very exciting

Fencing is finished enough to have the dogs come to work with us. With a temporary fence at the front. They like it much more then when they came with us occasionally and having to be on long lawn leads. But they’re still not happy with the lack of heating and sofas

And finally the guttering has turned up. That’s been a bit of a sh** show. 3 of 4 packages turned up last Monday. The missing package arrived last Friday. The bits missing from that package arrived yesterday! Annoying.
Anyway we’ve started putting the guttering up .

Still need to do the down pipes. But need to finish cladding first. Can’t do that until we’ve got windows in.
