I agree with Vinny - the colour of the wood cladding is just gorgeous. Are you treating it to keep the colour?

No not doing anything to it. Just going to let it silver naturally.
Today’s update. One whole wall is clad.
We’re really quiet pleased with it

And we had a sunny day  Cool
Looks stunning - One wall finished. Big Grin
I am so looking forward to seeing this finished! Smile x
Really impressive Big Grin
I love the silver tones of weathered wood too. If I was to build my own house I would struggle to choose between the two.

Well done you twoSmile
Yesterday was a day of jobs that were needed but not noticeable & definitely not photo worthy.
Bob finished putting stuffers & screws in the roof. First good weather day when Bobs felt healthy/happy enough to go onto the roof. Since the screws & stuffers got delivered. Also lots of head scratching, measuring and trial cutting. Working out angles for cladding on the eves overhang.

Today we fitted the cladding on the eves and started cladding the spare bedroom wall.

Then back to the head scratching. Working out how to fit our corner post.
Rain stopped play on cladding. So we moved the party into the attic and started putting up our insulation.

This is the first thing we’ve done inside the house so it’s quite exciting  Big Grin
