Knowing how creative you both are.....I built a fire place in our dining room by cutting the faces off bricks and putting them up like tiles, first time I had ever used a grinder so I built a template to ensure equal thickness, worked a treat.
This is making things a little more real. The first trailer load of incredibly random outside stuff ready to go up to our new house
. Including the first fish box full of plants
.
Took scaffolding down in the living room . Don’t think I’m going to get bored of that view any time soon.

It’ll look even better without the scaffold tower in middle of garden.
You could take a photo of that view every month or week for a year and watch the mountain change, in all its colours and moods.
That’s a great idea
.
I could take a photo on the 1st of every month and it could be a calendar
.
I do a weekly photo from the same spot (mostly) & it's really interesting to look back at the changes I don't notice at the time!
And the cladding and big windows are so beautiful
Will be amazing to have a living picture

We have a postman again! Our tape has finally arrived. I can start put the radon membrane down now. 2 weeks been waiting for this to arrive!
Bob’s been very busy the last couple of days putting the rest of the fencing up.
It makes the garden look massive now!

Seconds photo. The fence parallel with the ditch & road is finished the bit up the side of the drive ( the bit disappearing off to the right) is only temporary as we’ve still got some big deliveries to go in there and gates for front and back ( top of garden) still to be made. It looks great. Next job, lots of tidying up around the place.
