At least when you got back to where you started the final bit fit OK and there wasn't a 2" gap.  That says something for yours and Bob's attention to detail and precise work. A pat on the back well deserved I think.

Big Grin  No that’s a scaffold tower. About as comfortable as my bed feels at the moment  Big Grin

Yeah the whole thing is. As it’s a SIPs(structural insulated panels) kit. There will also be 150mm insulation going on the floor and an extra 25mm going on the inside of all external walls.
Do you have an expected completion date SC?

Not really. We’re attempting to get it to something like wind & water tight before the really unpleasant weather sets in. Then things will slow down considerably and we’ll just plod on with it at a slower pace. Mostly on inside stuff until the weather improves. 

Realistically we’re probably looking at 2 maybe 3 years to completion.
Bob & his brother fit most of the joists today. Still a few small ones around the loft hatch to do. I spent the day tidying up around the place.
