Bob had his jab today.
My Step Dad after a little persuasion and chasing is finally having his today! Smile

Mine is booked for next week! They really are getting through these so quickly.
The NHS is a beautiful thing.
Yippee, I'm in the next get vaccinated category (50+ with underlying health problems) but there are no slots available for the next week in the two nearest vaccine centres. Maybe next week.
PP I thought you would have been done by now RolleyesBig Grin
Got my dates booked - 2nd and 28th April. I declined April the first Smile  Pfizer-Biontech for me and MrPP, who gets it too as he lives with a vulnerable person.

But I do have to go and see the GP first to get a prescription which seems very counter intuative. Let's see, you're in a vulnerable group so please go and sit in a Dr's waiting room with a load of sick people for half an hour to get a bit of paper that confirms you can have a jab that we've told you to go and get. Hmm.
Got my first jab this lunchtime Big Grin

Vaccination centre was very quiet, so I was seen straight away even though I arrived early - I guess most people don't want to be sick over the weekend! No side-effects yet, but if you don't see me around this weekend, you'll know why.
Got a phone call today, I’m in for Monday afternoon for my first jab. Wh hooooo.
I had a phone call from the district nurse today. She's coming to give my mum her second dose tomorrow. That's just 8 weeks between the two which is fantastic. I'm so happy for her and it takes a lot of worry off my shoulders Big Grin

That's great. My mum(83) is now at 12 weeks between jabs and wondering if she should chase it up.
Worth asking about the next jab, PP.
