I don't think he's ever been but I do as he had an little episode last year during lockdown!

He got bitten by some insect....I sent him antihistamine on next day delivery as he wouldn't go to see anyone.

After a few days he sounded poorly - his breathing sounded strange -but wouldn't contact anyone as it was a lockdown and he didn't want to bother anyone. I called the helpline and they rang him....his leg was badly swollen and he hadn't got out of bed!! He had not said a word. They got him antibiotics quick. On hindsight I should have ignored the lockdown rules as he was isolating on his own.
So now I have every number I think I need. He is Scottish - I think they are super stubborn.
I've checked my GP website - they're doing 65-69s at the moment. 60-64s are being called to Mass Centres. They're opening another one here soon - at the old ToysRUs premises. You can imagine the jokes being made about that. Smile
I'll have a look thanks. I think as he is going into work he should get it as soon as possible. He's in the Caerphilly area.

I don't understand what you mean by that, I too am Scottish and I am a most agreeable person. As long as its what I want I will agree to itSmile

Mr E is Scottish, and I had to badger him to go to the GP when a bramble scratch he got while out running turned into a case of cellulitis (which can turn really nasty if untreated). I think it's not so much stubbornness per se, as rugged independence/not wanting to be any bother.

I think you've definitely hit the nail on the head! He doesn't want to trouble anyone.
I’d received a letter to travel to the mass centre but hung on for my GP’s text to go to a centre 5 mins walk away, Somehow I was missed of his list.
They are doing the 16 to 64 with health issues along with those 60 to 64 so a big mix of ages when I was having my jab.
I feel more or less fine now just a headache and arm ache.

Possibly more self-reliant
Farmers are the worst. If a farmer shows up in A&E saying they have a bit of a scratch, it's time to get the full trauma team down there because they probably have one of their legs in a plastic bag and still delayed coming to the hospital until the milking was done.
Mrs B had the AstraZeneca one todaySmile
