I thank you all for the kind wishes, although we knew it was coming, its still a severe loss when it happens, our sister in law was a fair bit younger than us and this came on so quickly, only 6 weeks ago both OH and her were planing a family get-together once the pandemic was past, its a true saying, the best laid schemes o mice and men, gang aft a agley
Sadly, even though a vegetarian, she died of CJD

Yesterday I planted up my oldbath with Mediterranean herbs and sowed gherkins.

Today, planted our chillies &aubergines, pricked out zinnias, strimmed the new bank bed -the cosmos I planted a fortnight ago have been swamped by grass.

Finally I’ve finished potting up chillies! The tunnel is now tidy and everybody is in their growing space for the season.

Carried on with the extreme hoeing of plot 3, nearly a third complete.
