Built an old greenhouse frame
Very vintage, Boss. Smile
Just watching Jeff Lynne's ELO concert at Wembley on TV - brilliant!
Acquired a very large sheet of cardboard, enough to cover a bed in one go. It was like laying carpet because I had to cut it around a couple of little fruit trees. Hoping it will control the weeds over winter.

Meanwhile, at the end of the garden a strange being from Outer Space had landed. I've no idea how long it has been there - but I think it has come in peace!!

The last couple of days I've been sorting seeds, trays, and plans for next year not forgetting lessons learnt.

I had my hospital procedure Thursday so can't really do much else for the next week apart from watch TV and ask the odd silly question on hereSmile
You'll soon be back to the plot, Danny. Meanwhile, sort seeds, then drop them on the floor, and sort them again.Smile That's what I do, often. Big Grin
Emptied one of my MFB's of spuds before dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of clean Charlotte potatoes in it. Had them for dinner along with a cabbage from allotment and a large Japanese onion mixed in with my steak and kidney. Cool

Went to one high street butcher yesterday and was greeted by a strange look when I asked for steak & Kidney. No kidney they said but we have steak. No thanks sez I and went to a small butchers shop up the road instead. I got enough steak and kidney for my Sunday dinner there for about £2.50! Smile
