I'm so sorry I'm a little late with my response ....but I'm so sad to read your news. I know you have had a difficult time over the last few months during Helens illness and to lose a loved one of 47 years must be very tough indeed. Thinking of you at this sad time Vinny. Xx

Not much on the gardening front today....bit of a potter in the garden but that's it.

Hopefully I will get to the plots tomorrow

A day of picking and pruning and apricot jam making (yellow sticker apricots - maybe that's why it hasn't set!).

My Nan used to use jams that were a bit runny in sponge cakes

I'm useless at making cake - about as useless as I am at making jam.
Its a beautiful colour though.

Rock moving & stone picking. With a little bit of mound flattening where the house kit is going to be put.
Watering tunnels. Bagging a seed head.
