Surf & turf for lunch today.
Thin cut steak which was on it's expiracy date with smoked haddock pieces done in the oven. Just as a trial I bought some ginger preserve cheaply the other day so added a dollop to each steak along with butter. Added an interesting flavour to meal! Smile
Fish, chips and mushy peas from the local chippy.
Yesterday
B. Stewed apple, flax seeds, granola & yogurt
L. packet of crisps and 2 bananas
D. Leftover boiled spuds, chilli beans and chard
Popcorn.

Today
B. Apple & yogurt
L. Lettuce, cucumber, cheese, pumpkin & sunflower seeds & mayo
D. Quorn sausage rolls and onion marmalade.

All FREE. Big Grin
Taking advantage of a 20% off steak offer every Saturday at Morries I had two large pan fried fatty ribeyes for lunch then some stewed steak from the slow cooker at teatime.
B. Stewed apple, granola & yogurt
L. ,Left over Quorn sausage roll & crisps
D. Fried, leftover potatoes and a tin of sardines. (aka Fish & chips). Big Grin
Last night was asparagus with ham & poached egg on a toasted garlic bread
Tonight was hot dogs
B. Stewed apple, granola, flax seed & yogurt
L. Peanut butter and banana sandwich
D. Savoury rice (use by 2021) with added mushrooms, peas and tuna.
An unexpected meal round at friends. Chicken, prawn and veg noodle soup. It was lovely.
Scrambled eggs with chilli flakes for brekkie and fried flavoured beef mince for ron.
Corned beef pie with mushy peas and gravy.
