We have rain
Real rain that wets the garden and fills water butts.
We have manage 10 mins of rain...but patio dry in the same time
Roods flooded 20 miles to the west and all we've had are spits and spots.
We had a decent rain last night, but also thunder and lightning that kept circling the village. Unfortunately it knocked out our electricity too, and that didn't get fixed until about 1am.
Today it's drizzly, just fine drizzle, but it's continuous - yay

Got home to find water in the butts, not full but a fair way up. Lovely.
It's been raining here for almost 3 hours, so I'm hoping for full water butts once it stops.
The spits and spots have turned into drips and drops. Need them to continue all night to fill the water butts but I'm hopeful.
Lots of rumblings and flashes last night arrived as forecast and predicted to give us between 10 & 20mm of rain (or hail) and it did rain. A whole 1mm.
There's no more rain forecast for 2 weeks and lots of warm weather which is pretty much a disaster
Its just stopped raining here, my water butts are all full and the gardens looking well watered.
Isn't that a fine feeling, Bren. Dull, misty and humid, no more rain expected. You see we'll be moaning the lack of sun soon and the arrival of tomato blight.
