I’m interested to know how does everyone choose the seeds they buy?

I watch a video yesterday from gardener’s world Facebook. On how to choose seeds. It was very much aimed at new gardeners. It got me thinking. How do those of us that have been play in the garden for a while (years) choose seeds. Especially as (let’s be very honest     ) most of us have a slight problem (addiction) with seeds. 
I know seed saving and seed swaps and free seeds all help with our addiction. But when faced with one of those beautiful glossy seed catalogs and you want to buy seeds how do you choose? 

I’m not sure I can actually answer my own question     .

I've saved some Micro Cherry tomato seeds today - finally! It made me very happy indeed, so I nearly posted it in that thread, but figured it would sit better here. I have hundreds and thousands tiny little tomatoes off these plants this summer and they're tasty - just fiddly.

Share with us the First time you see, feel, taste or experience  something in 2023. 
It can be as simple as the first snowdrop, butterfly or slug or eat your first Easter egg. First picnic or BBQ and so on. 

For example, today I saw my first Woodpecker of 2023 on the peanut feeder.

In the autumn I bought some reduced in flower dwarf cyclamen from Tesco. They were pretty little things and thrived after planting in our mild autumn. Then the -7° hit u and now they look totally wiped out and frosted, flowers leaves and all.  What are the chances of them recovering?

I've decided to try and warm my wet cold clay soil up with some tunnel cloches this year to extend my growing season. I've got some pipe etc on order but not sure what to use as cover, e.g clear plastic, fleece, thermacrop etc. And whether or not some covers may be of more benefit at either end of the season etc or could have multiple uses to avoid extra costs. Any thoughts appreciated. I may also be trying to use some to get an earlier (and maybe later) crop of potatoes outside as I don't have a greenhouse.

I need suggestions for soft drinks to replace my evening beer. I’m a bit of a one trick pony when it comes to drinks ( soft or alcoholic). I live on coke. I occasionally have an orange juice but only in warm weather. I occasionally have hot chocolate but it has to be Baltic (it hasn’t been cold enough yet this winter). Only drink water if I’m on deaths door! I don’t like squash (I’ve tried lots of different ones). 
I know there are many many different things out there but I really don’t know where to start.
