Last night was venison steak with chunky rustic (skins still on ) chips and a pepper sauce.
No idea what tonight will be yet.

Going out is cancelled friend's baby has D&V and as I was going to her house for a games evening, she's warned me off and cancelled, not worth the risk of bringing it home to P. So it's leftovers for both of us, some bean stew and the odd sausage sculling about the fridge plus veg. Haute cuisine!

Sorry about your cancelled night out J
Yesterday was leftover roast beef with mash and bearnaise sauce (originally served with gravy). The carrots were free, literally, from a surplus shop that I visited earlier in the week. Now I'm looking to try carrot jam!
Tonight will likely be a crustless quiche full of vegetables, bacon and cheese, served with cheesy garlic bread and more vegetables. I'm eating healthy and it's already helping - 1 pound down in five days.

^^^^ let us know what carrot jam is like Sarriss, saw tomato jam (jelly) on a yank YouTube and wondered if it was worth trying. You've reminded me I got some free parsnips from tesco, I love parsnip mash, also parsnip roulade. Must use them before they get mothery.

Yesterday was half a Morries "Nourish Mexican Style Jackfruit meal pot" yellow stickered to 50p and some Two colour Quinoa from the cupboard.
Same again tonight.

Mixed grill this evening as the freezer thought it’d be a good idea to start defrosting it’s self. So we’ve got chicken breast, pork & black pudding sausages and gammon steak with chips & egg.

Sausage and veggie casserole.
No real recipe but I do add Tom's and paprika to the usual garden/freezer veggies I can find.
