https://bakingwithgranny.co.uk/recipe/custard-creams/ SC, going to have a go at these when I have time but can I ask did you put the mixture straight on to baking tray as per recipe or did you use grease proof paper or would that stop them from crisping up on the bottom? I did one tray with & one without grease proof paper ( I only have one proper none stick tray ) . Both lots came out perfectly. Highly recommend them. Very easy to make. Store well in an airtight container. Made these yesterday SC, lovely especially if you like sweet things!

I’m copying Bren again today. I was inspired when I read what you had yesterday and today. So I’ve got a shoulder of lamb with roast veggies and I might have to go as far as copying your Yorkshire puddings as well. Thanks Bren.

Burger with smoked cheese and dirty burger sauce. Leftover roast beef at lunch, so didn't need much tonight.

Cheese on toast this evening because I fancy a rice pud as I can't manage a desert after a main meal.

Another who made the custard creams - thanks SC! MrPP liked them more than me, but I'd always choose savoury over sweet
Monday - aubergine and tomato gratin with a breadcrumb, garlic, thyme and cheese crumble. A new one that will be repeated!
Tuesday - left over roast chicken from Sunday in mayo & chives (mixed in the left over gravy with the mayo because I hate chucking stuff out & it tasted good, but was a rather off-putting colour ). Served with mixed warm shredded spring greens, yellow haricot beans, shredded raw carrot, in a garlic, ginger, soy, oil & lemon dressing. Will add a few chilli flakes next time.
